Halloween 2011

Ok so I've been slacking but here's an update from Halloween. Amelia was an elephant/ant eater... Not sure exactly but the costume could pass for either :)
We didn't get much traffic to the house but it was still fun handing out candy and toys to kids that did come.

The first day to the rest of our lives!

This is a Breville juicer. We first were Inspired to start juicing after we watched a documentary called "Fat, sick, and nearly dead" It was a documentary about a guy that ate/drank only freshly juiced fruits and vegetables for 60 days. The benefits were amazing! Aside from loosing weight, he was also able to stop taking medications for a disease that he had had for 7 years!!
We are currently on day two of juicing. I will have to admit, I have cheated a little bit.. But only by eating the vegetables themselves in addition to the juices... But at least it's better than having a big bowl of thai red curry, like any other Tuesday night meal. Jedd is staying pretty strong though, nothing but vegie/fruit juice! We have had headaches and bouts of depression from our "food withdrawals" but we know it'll all be worth it!
